How We Build It

Layout on site
We mark the footprint so you can see the size before we build it.

Excavation and base
Sod and topsoil are removed, then compacted stone base is installed.

Forming to drainage
Forms are set with slope away from the house and toward the yard.

Reinforcement and pour
Reinforcement is placed, then concrete is poured and finished to the texture you chose.
- 05
Joints, cure and clean-up
Control joints are cut, the site is cleaned, and we review cure time with you.

- How much does a concrete patio cost?
- It depends on size, access, thickness, finish and whether an old slab has to come out. We give a written, itemized estimate after an on-site visit — no charge.
- Stamped or broom finish?
- Broom finish is the most durable and lowest maintenance. Stamped adds pattern and color and needs periodic sealing. We will walk you through both.
- Can you tie a new patio into my existing slab?
- Usually yes, with an isolation joint so the two slabs can move independently.
- What time of year can you pour?
- We pour through most of the season in our area and adjust mixes and protection for temperature. Call and we will tell you what the schedule looks like.
