Curved Walkway Replacement
An old limestone walkway that had settled and become uneven was removed and replaced with a curved poured-concrete walk.
The Problem
The original limestone walkway had shifted over years of freeze-thaw, leaving uneven footing and low spots that collected water next to the house.
Scope of Work
- Removed the existing limestone walkway and hauled it off
- Regraded and compacted the sub-grade so water runs away from the home
- Formed a curved layout to match the approach to the entry
- Poured and broom-finished the new walk with control joints cut to spacing
